Working hard through times when it's difficult

In the last week, I was on Thanksgiving break and I was able to make progress on my original work project by being able to continue my research on reversing epigenetic silencing to treat diseases and narrow down what exactly my proposal should include. I researched several different real grant proposals submitted to NIH to see what would be important for me to include in my mock grant proposal. I saw many common things between a large number of the grant proposals and pictures and a bibliography is consistent between all of the grant proposals. These real proposals were several pages long, and well above a high school level so when I am doing mine my description of the experiment will need to be much more condensed. I've also learned this week to get better at time management and hard work. During my break, I set time aside most days to work on ISM, so I wouldn't get far behind. Usually, I want to avoid having to work during my breaks, but I found this week to be a perfect time to catch up and create a schedule for myself. I managed my time so that I was able to relax, but still complete work.
