Importance of Time management

This week in ISM we have our original work due on Friday and usually, I am always extremely stressed because I procrastinate my work and leave it for the last minute. This time for the original work I spaced out when I will get my work done, so I have most of it done at this point. I am so proud I was able to manage my time, so my project wasn't very last minute and although it took a lot of work, I am glad I put in all that work. Additionally this week in ISM I had to rewatch and critique my research speech and while rewatching it I was able to learn what I did wrong and where I messed up. I learned I need to work more on staying in the time frame given, which was 8-10mins. My speech was 11 mins, so that was over the time limit. Additionally, I heard I used the word um far too many times during my speech, and it's important for a better speech to avoid using filler words like that. I was able to learn lots of helpful information, not only on my research topic but also on how to give better speeches.
